Stephania holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom (UK) and is currently preparing her Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Transitional Justice, Human Rights and the Rule of Law at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights (Geneva Academy).

Stephania was a national researcher for the UK team at the Council of Europe's International Legal Research Group on the impact of austerity measures on social rights in Europe (2014-2015). She has also led the UK research team, of ten researchers, in the Council of Europe's International Legal Research Group on freedom of expression and the protection of journalistic sources (2015-2016). Stephania has also worked at the Permanent Mission of Cyprus at the United Nations in New York City (2016) as well as in Geneva (2016-2017).

Her academic interests lie in the fields of International Criminal Law, International Human Rights Law and Transitional Justice. Passionate about International Law she plans to continue her legal studies with a PhD after obtaining her Master's degree.

Her internship in our research team forms part of her curriculum for the obtention of her Master's degree at the Geneva Academy.
