Submission of an Open Letter to the Member States and Observers of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UN HRC) by human rights organisations and legal experts.
The signatories, among them Sévane Garibian, call on the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and the UN HRC to urgently establish an international investigation into the mass executions and enforced disappearances of thousands of political prisoners that took place in Iran in 1988.
