Research Visit to México
October-November 2018
Sévane Garibian travelled to México City as visiting professor in October-November 2018. During her stay, she taught a series of lectures in international criminal law and transitional justice (ITAM), and participated in different conferences (Escuela Libre de Derecho, CIESAS).
Moreover, she also conducted field research with a variety of actors working on issues related to the fight against impunity in the country. These included, among others, fellow university colleagues, human rights and international law experts, NGOs, and forensic anthropologists.
